Support the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal and help those in need at Christmas and beyond, because a little thought goes a long way.

Get involved in the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal

We know many families are doing it tough – which is why Kmart are asking the community to come together and support those who need it most.
Here are some ways you can support the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal this year.

New Zealand celebrates 30 years of the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal!

Kmart along with The Salvation Army are coming together for the 30th year to help support those doing it tough at Christmas and beyond. We encourage you to embrace the spirit of giving this year by supporting the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. You can do this by making a cash contribution in store, or online, or giving a gift in store.

Helping support families in need in our local communities.

The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal is New Zealand’s largest and longest-running gift collection drive. It has been helping assist those in need in local communities at Christmas and beyond for 30 years.

Who the Appeal helps

The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal supports children, adults, seniors and families who are unable to afford gifts at Christmas and at a time beyond Christmas.

Woolworths

The Woolworths Christmas Appeal this year takes the form of customer food donations from 25th November to 24th December into our trollies and bins at the checkout. Once again Woollies has shelf-wobblers pointing out our most needed items for our foodbanks, suggesting which food items you may like to donate. There is also a round-up opportunity at the checkout from 9th to 22nd December. Woolworths will be matching these cash donations with $100,000.

When you visit your local Woolworths this Christmas please consider donating food or much needed cash for our kai support work.

The Warehouse Group

The Warehouse, Noel Leeming and Warehouse Stationery are running a round-up at the checkout Christmas Appeal benefiting each of their charity partners including The Salvation Army. This appeal runs from 13th November to 17th December

Please take a moment to visit these stores as you do your Christmas shopping - we would love it if you would consider making a donation at the checkout.
