'Beyond the Dark' - 2021 Annual Day of Prayer for Victims of Human Trafficking

Posted September 22, 2021

AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT, AN ESTIMATED 40.3 MILLION PEOPLE ARE BEING VICTIMIZED IN SITUATIONS OF TRAFFICKING AND EXPLOITATION WORLDWIDE. 25% OF THESE ARE CHILDREN. (International Labour Organization)

The Salvation Army is deeply committed to fighting and responding to modern slavery and human trafficking. We have a theological and historical mandate. We believe prayer is foundational and an essential, powerful tool to fight for freedom and work towards a world free from exploitation.

We invite you to join Salvationists and friends around the world on Sunday, September 26, 2021, to corporately cry out for justice and freedom.

We want to activate our collective voice to say that we believe a world without modern slavery and human trafficking is possible. Watch the video above to find out how you can participate.

You can find resource sheets below for Children and Youth PLUS Adults if you're looking for ways to engage at your local corps.

To find out more info you can check it out on the International Social Justice Commision website HERE.
