Nau mai, haere mai ki te kainga o Te Minitatanga Māori O Te Ope Whakaora O Aotearoa.
Welcome to the home of The Salvation Army's Māori Ministry in New Zealand.
The Salvation Army acknowledges The Treaty of Waitangi as the basis of a cultural partnership between Māori as the Tangata Whenua and Pākehā who have since come to make their home in Aotearoa New Zealand. The Māori for ‘The Salvation Army’ is 'Te Ope Whakaora', which is translated as ‘the Army that Brings Life’.
