Feel the fear and face it anyway

Often in life we can be overwhelmed with what life throws at us. At times we feel that God is nowhere to be seen or heard. We feel afraid, lonely and sometimes even desperate as we face a situation seemingly on our own.

But the actual reality is that God is there with us, behind us, before us and beside us.

In Joshua 1:9, God proclaims “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

The God of creation, the Old Testament and the New Testament is with us! We don’t need to be afraid, discouraged or terrified; instead God by His very presence gives us strength and courage to carry on.
