Sometimes it's enough to be reminded that all you need to do - is keep on doing what you're already doing. In this short and sweet COVID reflection, Major Bronwyn Aldersley reminds us that it's the simple things we're called to: love God, love others and to keep on with the mission.
We invite you to download and share this and our other International Women's Day testimonies with your community (link below). The following is a transcript from the video:
My encouragement to you today is just to keep on doing what you're doing.
Surrender your lives daily to him.
Love God with all your heart and love others.
In New Zealand our mission is, ‘Caring for people, transforming lives and reforming society.’
Even through a global pandemic, this is important as ever.
Keep fulfilling the mission that God has called you to do.
We're celebrating International Women's Day by sharing women's testimonies of leadership during COVID in New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa Territory. We will be releasing new videos daily, and joining a worldwide video montage on The Salvation Army International Social Justice Commission's Facebook Page on March 8th. We invite you to share and view these stories with your community, to amplify their voices!
