We see in scripture stories of people who took roads less travelled only to end up in the best places. Abraham got to see the Promised Land, Joseph in charge of Egypt, Moses saved his people and David became King.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future”. God does have a plan for your life and no matter what roads this world throws at you, God will use them for your benefit.
Roads less travelled lead us to an amazing view at the end. We get to see things from a different perspective. We get to see our courage, our tenacity, our strength, our compassion and our faith during difficulty in all its glory. We see the glory of God displayed in our lives in those moments when He carried us. We see firsthand the mercy and grace of God who promises to be with us every step of the way.
When you find yourself on a road you would rather not travel keep going and look to God as your focus, with Jesus as your guide and with the Holy Spirit prompting you. You need to trust in God and the plan He has for you.
