Lock Down Look Up: Encouragement for a season of separation

With New Zealand and many other countries around the world on lock-down, let's look up and seek God. 'I look up to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. He is the Maker of heaven and earth.' - Psalm 121:1-2 (NIRV)

The world faces an unprecedented reality with the spread of COVID-19, social-distancing and many churches closing their doors for the first time in their history to help 'flatten the curve' of the spread of infection.

This seems to be a time of great uncertainty. There is a lot of fear, stress, worry and confusion as people seek to find security, and many countries in a period of lockdown until the contagion can be contained. We believe that this period of uncertainty can be a period of great 'reimagining'. In the time of lockdown, we are responding to the call to look up to God.
