The United Nations has set 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as 'an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.'
We believe that prayer is the biggest action a Christian can begin with. Will you join us in an urgent call for prayer, as we intercede for women and girls through each of the Sustainable Development Goals?

Goal #11: Sustainable Cities and Communities | Find out more
Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
'God your love prevails over all the earth, your love knows no bounds and you love despite the colour of our skin, the songs of our heart, the love of our life or the choices we make. We can stand steadfast in your love and it is the one constant.
The inequalities of our world and the injustices that prevail alongside it aren’t of your light, and we pray and believe that our world can be free of inequality.
God we pray that people wouldn’t judge others for the colour of their skin, for the sound of their voice, for the disabilities or differences they possess, for the people they love, or for the person they are destined to be. We pray that each and every person be loved and shown love over inequality in this world.
We pray for those who have found refugee in another country that they be given the life and opportunities they deserve and long for, that despite their country of birth they would have the ability to access the medical care they need, as I’ve heard stories of people who have fled their countries due to violence wanting for a better life but their new countries decline them the life-sustaining HIV meds they need.
We pray that those in communities and countries with lack of resources be given those same resources that others have to meet basic human needs. That those in countries battling with no medical care or food and water be blessed in abundance with all they need to sustain their life.
We pray that the divide of poor and rich, men and woman and every divide that creates inequality be reduced and ceased in our world and in our lives. God in the countries where people only receive employment based on the tribe or family they were born into and not on their skills and talents, we pray these situations would be gone and people would earn their employment for their skills and talents and passions.
God you love us equally, and we pray that the world will have equality triumph inequality.'
