These beautiful cards are free to print and remind you that you are a woman of immense value and valour. Produced by The Salvation Army Women's Ministries for our #WMTour2019 this year, these cards tied in to the messages our international Women's Ministries leaders gave on outrageous courage and unshakeable confidence.
We were blessed to have our international Women's Ministries leaders join us for a nationwide tour WM hosted March 31st-April 2nd.
Commissioner Rosalie Peddle is the World President of Women's Ministries for The Salvation Army internationally. Her wisdom and grace brought great mana to her speaking and inspired many women to step out of the boundaries they thought were immovable. Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham is the World Secretary for Women's Ministries, whose industriousness and tact created a warmth that all the women who attended the #WMTour2019 events felt.
Our international Women's Ministries leaders truly reflect the spirit behind the Proverbs 31:10 verse: women of immense value and valour.
Their messages inspired all who heard them to step into their outrageous courage, in full confidence that God had created us to be soldiers of salvation. The 'You are a woman of valour' cards were used at multiple events around the nation, and we want you to be able to use them too!
Our international Women's Ministries leaders truly reflect the spirit behind the Proverbs 31:10 verse: women of immense value and valour.
Proverbs 31:10-31 is one of the most quoted verses about women. The verses are written as an acrostic poem, with each verse beginning with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet. They are said to be written by King Lemuel, from wise teachings of his mother. They describe a woman known as eishet chayil (pronounced aish-et chai-eel or eishes chayil) - generally translated as a 'woman of valor.' In Jewish tradition, this poetic description is sung to the woman of the house on the Friday night Shabbat meal as a way to honour her.
You can print this either A6, or as a poster to be framed. We would love to see how you use them, so head over to our Facebook page with your pictures once you print them! Have these for your next lifegroup event, at church freely available or frame them and give them to a friend! We are each women of value and valour, and we bless you because of it.
